Worldwide Talent Show- YOUTUBE

Here are some links to videos of very talented people...all are on  I love that there is so much music in the world right now.  And I love that so many people are making covers of hit songs because a lot of the time they are better than the original.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Who knew 5 people could play one guitar?

This talented girl was only 10 when she recorded this.

I love the this cover done by the piano guys.

This is an older youtube video but still a goody.

December Happenings

Here is a picture a day for December.  Christmas was good this year.
Yes.  There was a camel at the Turlock Christmas Parade.
Watchin' our Chirstmas Classics (an early Christmas present/belated Birthday gift from the in-laws) and drinking hot cocoa.
We look elderly... but really we were just enjoying our hot chocolate with marshmallows.
My mother gave us this adorable tree skirt!
We went to the House of Java to hear Jason Jackson perform.
We made a cute little graham cracker house!
Sis. Kuhn gave us homemade chocolate and caramel sauce.  Such a great gift idea and way too yummy.
Hubby at his final for his dance class.  He got to dance at the basketball half-time show.
I love this picture!  I took it at the Ward Party.  The two holding hands are siblings and the three girls are best friends.
We got to meet Gideon (our new Nephew) at Grandma Flack's Funeral.
Here is Heber with his Uncle Travis.  He looks so different with all his curls cut off.
Sweet Niece Eliza modeling one of Grandma's necklaces that she got to keep.
Mark holding his son Elliott.  Such a sweet moment.
Oliver is so cute!  He never stops counting numbers are using his alphabet.
My attempt at making a snow angel.
One of the houses in Grandma Hall's infamous town.  I love the parents in the window tucking their child in.
 Santa's elves were here!
The lights at the Oakland Temple.  I love the palm trees.
These two are crazy...especially when they are together!
My man helping me make Christmas Treats.
 Making tons of sugar cookies.
I love these napkin rings.  Makes for a gorgeous table setting this time of year.
This is how we ended up celebrating our anniversary.  Candlelight and some spaghetti dinner.  Next year we will do something awesome to make up for it.
 Anthony... idk.
Tony kept asking for a stach.  We thought he meant a staff...but he demanded a mustache.  Too cute!
All the nativity actors.  Caleb was the angel... it looks like maybe he is going to swan dive.
New Christmas PJs.  I hope we continue this tradition forever.
I think stockings without a fireplace are tacky so I made my own fireplace with poster board.
Presents under the tree on Christmas Morning.
Traditional picture.  Me with my presents.
 Baby with his loot!

Only a Californian Would Love the Snow This Much.

I was so excited to travel to Utah in December because most of the time that means snow.  While it only snowed an inch or less we still had a blast playing in it.  I even found some yummy snow to eat.  I love to eat fact I crave it!

 Look! Icicles!
A sprinkler head that froze over.
 My snow angel.
Sebbie running away.  We were playing a game of tag.
Sebbie is so fun to play with!
They are trying to run away from us.

Put Things Where You Use Them

For the longest time I had my Zout Stain Remover Spray under my kitchen sink.  That is where I keep my laundry detergent and fabric softener so it made sense to keep it there.  However, my laundry hamper is in my bedroom and that is where I end up using my Zout.  So I moved it to my bedroom and it makes life so much easier.  Is there anything in your home that you always use in one room of your home but keep in another.  If so consider making the switch.

Merry Christmas!

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas this year!  I hope Santa brought you all the things you wanted, that you have a fun day playing with your new toys and watching movies and playing board games with your families.  But most importantly, I hope we all remember the true meaning of Christmas.

Work Out Wishlist

Champion makes the best sport bras.  I want 2 fun colored ones.  You can get them for around $15 at Target
One pack of these Men's Froot of the Loom V-Neck Tees would make great workout shirts.  5 pack $10.99 at Target.
Every girl needs a cute pair of yoga capris.  These are $10 at Victoria Secret
I love the pink zipper details on these yoga pants.

If I really want to take my New Years Resolution to get fit seriously...I could really use this new exercise gear.

Temple Lights

I always love to see the Temple all light up during Christmas.  Since I got married in December it is even more special than before.  We decided we would try to take a picture of us at the Temple every year on (or near) our anniversary.
