It's the Little Touches-Bathroom Decor

I have been crafting a lot lately, but this project is one of my favorites ever!  I wanted to put some art in our bathroom just to help finish the look.  It took a long time to decide what we wanted but then I came across this:
So I made my own:

Every time I see my new creation it makes me smile.
I also bought these smaller glass containers at the dollar store to add even more character.
 So cute!
And  I don't know about you but I think folding the toilet paper makes it feel like your home is a hotel.
I love the punch of color these add.
And of course everything is tied together by these cute towels.

Started My Family History

In Relief Society we had a great lesson on Geneology and about getting started.  I was impressed and decided I would take her advice and get going.  The best part about new.familysearch.org is that once I signed up and logged in, and fill out a few things I found that most of the information was already there because someone had already done it.  I look forward to continuing the work for my relatives as well as making sure I keep good records of my own history so that I will always be remembered.

"Go-To Meals"

These are dinners that are tasty and fast.  I use them when I just need to get something on the table and there's not enough time to get fancy.

#1 Mac and Cheese with pigs in a blanket (hot dogs rolled up in pillsbury cresent rolls and baked)
#2 Cambell's Chicken Noodle or Tomatoe Soup and Grilled Cheese (or toasted cheese: simply put slices of cheddar cheese on bread and toss it in the broiler)
#3 Spaghetti or Pasta with sauce (1 can tomatoe sauce, Tbl. garlic, Tbl. italian seasoning, 1/2 Lb. pre-cooked hamburger meat)
#4 Missionary Delight (Mac and Cheese with 1 can tomatoe sauce (fill up can with milk and add), don't use butter, add 1/2 Lb. hamburger) We also like to make garlic bread with hamburger buns (hot dog buns work too), some butter, and garlic salt.  We throw them in the toaster oven.
#5 Chicken and Rice (Cut chicken into cubes, season w/ salt and pepper, brown, and 1 can cream of chicken and some water... simmer until meat is cooked through.  Pour over rice and eat.)

Easy and Inexpensive Craft- Decorative Plate

I was given this pretty plate for my wedding but didn't know what to do with it because it isn't safe for food.  I had this cute stand already had had bought some stickers from the dollar store with the intention of using them for my scrapbook.  When I put 2 and 2 together I changed my mind.

Glasses Keep Falling Off- Try this.

I have a pair of glasses that I love but almost never wear because they always slide off my nose.  My mom told me once that you could fix them yourself by running the plastic under very hot water and bending it to fit.  I finally tried it.  It was super easy and now they fit great.

Neville Longbottom...a hotty?!?

I saw this on Facebook and just had to look into it further.  I honestly couldn't believe it... See for yourself.

Neville Longbottom (Mathew Lewis) is a hotty!!!  I even choose the best looking pictures of all the actors to be fair and he still is much more dreamy than Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton, and even Rupert Grint.

I apologize this post isn't about crafting...
I just finished reading The Hunger Games Series and I loved it!  I am not the fastest reader but these were such good books I finished them in no time.  I strongly recommend them.
...and the movie comes out on March 23rd.  I cannot wait!  Watch the trailor here.
